New LIC Plans 2025-26: The Full List and What Each Is For

Following the IRDAI product regulations that took effect in October 2024, LIC withdrew its entire older line-up and re-launched revised plans with new numbers. If you are confused about which plans are current in 2025–26, here is a plain-language guide to the main ones and what each is for.

Income & whole-life

  • Bima Platinum (770) — guaranteed regular income plus additions, for steady payouts. Details.

How to choose

Match the plan to the job: term for protection, an endowment or money-back for guaranteed savings, an annuity for retirement income. The quickest way to see what fits your situation — with real premiums — is Plan Banao, or compare any two plans on the premium calculator.
