About LIC Jeevan Tarun (734)

LIC Jeevan Tarun is a participating, non-linked children’s plan (entry age 0 to 12). Premiums are paid for a limited period (up to age 20), while cover and benefits run to age 25. Its defining feature is the choice of four Benefit Options that decide the split between annual survival benefits (paid each year from age 20 to 24) and the final maturity lump sum at 25.

Option 1 pays no survival benefit and 100% at maturity; Options 2, 3 and 4 pay progressively larger annual amounts (5%, 10% or 15% of the sum assured) with a correspondingly smaller lump sum. This lets you tune the plan to a child’s likely cash-flow needs.
